Discover tranquility in Seoul's urban oasis.

About Seoul Forest
Seoul Forest, spanning over 1.2 million square meters, is a testament to the harmonious coexistence of urban life and natural beauty. Once a royal hunting preserve during the Joseon Dynasty, it later evolved into an industrial hub before being transformed into a public park in 2005. This transformation was driven by a vision to create a space where nature and the city could thrive together. Today, Seoul Forest is divided into five distinct areas: the Cultural Art Park, Eco Forest, Nature Experiencing Study Field, Wetlands Ecological Field, and the Han River Waterside Park. As you wander through the park, you'll encounter various ecosystems and attractions catering to diverse interests. The Eco Forest is home to deer and other wildlife, offering a rare glimpse of nature in the city. Art lovers will appreciate the Cultural Art Park, featuring sculptures and installations that invite contemplation and interaction. The Wetlands Ecological Field provides a peaceful retreat, with its boardwalks and observation decks offering views of migratory birds and native flora. Families can enjoy the Nature Experiencing Study Field, which hosts educational programs and workshops designed to foster a connection with nature. The Han River Waterside Park adds a picturesque backdrop to the forest, perfect for picnics or leisurely bike rides along the river. Surrounding Seoul Forest, visitors can explore the vibrant Seongsu-dong neighborhood, known for its trendy cafes and boutique shops. The park's central location makes it easily accessible by public transport, ensuring a convenient and enriching experience for all who visit.
